What is the Mano Initiative? Well, I am glad you asked!

It all started one day during one of Lucas' many therapies. Lucas was born with a right hand that was not quite as functional as his left. Despite it, we noticed he had no limitations in his mind. He would do whatever he needed to do to pick up his toy, until finally he did. As we watched, it inspired us. If Lucas can do this with no fear, we can do anything we are called to do with no excuse. This is how Mano was birthed! Mano actually means hand in Spanish. In Filipino, it is also a phrase one would express to ask for a blessing from an elder. Mano exists to do both, we bring hands to help those who need a hand.

Our Mission is to unite people to provide educational and humanitarian assistance for differently abled children around the world.
